Tan Chong International Ltd is the exclusive distributor of Nissan motor Vehicles in Singapore.  Many Nissan models are available in Singapore, including small, mid-size, full-size, luxury and recreational models. A comprehensive range of light commercial vehicles are also sold in Singapore.

Subaru, another motor manufacturer represented by Tan Chong International, is well known in the all wheel drive niche market and is becoming popular in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

 

 

In Singapore and Thailand, the Group is the sole distributor for Nissan Diesel commercial vehicles, buses and specialized vehicles. Tan Chong International Ltd also distributes Nissan forklift trucks in Singapore. 

The forklift Division in Thailand is the sole dealer for Hangzhou forklift in Zhejiang the leading forklift manufacturer in China.

Tan Chong International Ltd has interests in vehicle seat manufacturing plants in Wuxi and Xiamen, as well as a shock absorber plant in Jiangyin.

Over the years, the Group has expanded into new complementary business, such as motor finance, tyre and lubrication oil distribution, car rental and computers.

The Group has accumulated a sizeable property portfolio of offices, warehouses, residential accommodation and factories in the countries where they operate.  In Singapore, its properties include the ultra modern Nissan showroom, service and spare parts center and the multistoried Subaru one-stop center.  The properties held for investments include Tan Chong Towers an 20 storey commercial-residential building in the commercial center of Singapore. Oasis@Mulberry, our latest residential development that is a terrace-housing property with 77 units at the Group's freehold site in Singapore, is an outstanding Landmark in the vicinity. DUNLOP tyres is distributed by the Company in China, Hong Kong and Macau. The Group also distribute DUNLOP tyres manufactured in the PRC. In China we have two plants manufacturing customized seats for tour buses and construction equipment.  Another factory in Jiangyin manufactures single tube shock absorbers for the local and export market.
